The Psychology of speed

Psychology Today, a magazine which I love and revere had an interesting article which was labelled as “How to boost your mood in sixty seconds.” Within it, it detailed how in control of our feelings we can be and how something as simple as evaluating your failures and your issues in a quick and rapid form in your head can allow you to process and deal with them, thus making room for you to move on and further your day.

Dwelling is what draws us back, keeps us waiting, wondering and concentrating on subjects which don’t push us forward. If we took just a couple of minutes or less to give our bullshit a thought or two, then we could move on. Dwelling is useless after all, as any rational person knows.
